We’ve always believed that local is more than a label. It’s a promise of freshness, of quality and of community.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce our newest local vendor: Simpson’s Market Garden, a small but passionate farm operated by Colton Simpson, right here in Charles County. Starting this week, you’ll find a beautiful selection of fresh, naturally grown produce from Simpson’s on our shelves, including collard greens, kale, lettuce and microgreens.
And believe us when we say: this produce is next-level fresh.
Colton Simpson is a first-generation farmer, born and raised in our community, and deeply committed to the land he works. After studying Plant Science at the University of Maryland and then running an eco-friendly landscaping business, he launched Simpson’s Market Garden with a simple but powerful philosophy: grow food naturally, work intentionally and feed the people around you. Everything is grown on a small scale, worked mostly by hand, and harvested with care.
“Farming has always felt like the work I was meant to do,” Colton says. “It connects me back to the land, the community and the people I feed.”
That mission is one we wholeheartedly support. At Oasis, our shelves reflect our values — supporting small farms, shortening supply chains and delivering produce at the peak of freshness. It’s good for your body, your taste buds and our local economy.
Visit Oasis this week and take home something grown with heart, right here in your own backyard.
When you shop local, everybody wins.
